How Halo Lumin Works
Long-Term Vision
A new default way to share content:
“Send me the file” → becomes → “Send me a Halo”
- One link replaces attachments
- Updates don’t break links
- Sharing becomes frictionless
Simple Example
Instead of:
“I emailed you the file… version 3… no wait, the updated one…”
You say:
“Here’s the Halo.”
Halo Lumin turns files and pasted text into clean, shareable web pages called Halos.
Create a Halo → get a link → share it anywhere
No attachments. No confusion. Just the link.

What you can turn into a Halo
You can create a Halo from:
- pasted text
- PDFs
- images
- text files
- markdown files
Instead of sending attachments, you send one simple link that opens in a browser.
Do I need an account?
No. You can create a Halo without signing in.
If you choose to sign in, you can:
- save your own Halos
- save Halos shared with you
- manage your Halos later
- enable downloads
What happens when I create a Halo?
When you create a Halo, Halo Lumin gives your content its own link.
You can copy that link and send it anywhere.
What happens when someone opens my Halo?
When someone opens your link, they first see a simple preview page.
This gives them a little context before the content opens.
Who can see my Halo?
Halos are not listed in a public directory.
But anyone with the link can open them, so treat the link like something private unless you want it shared more widely.
Can people download my Halo?
Halo Lumin is built to show content first.
Downloads are off by default.
If you are signed in, you can choose to enable downloads when creating a Halo.
Managing and updating your Halo
You can manage your Halo later without changing the shared link.
- Edit pasted text directly
- Replace uploaded files
That means you can fix mistakes or add new information without sending a new link.
Anyone with the original link will always see the latest version.
Finding your Halos later
If you are signed in:
- Your Halos → My Halos
- Saved Halos → Saved Halos
Before you share
Please do not upload sensitive personal, financial, medical, confidential, or private business information.
If you would not feel comfortable sending it to the wrong person, do not share it here.
One important thing to remember
Anyone you send the link to can forward it.
Halo Lumin is built to make sharing simple, clean, and fast — so use good judgment.
